Air compressors are considered to be a staple accessory for 4WDers and anyone travelling off-road. They are so important when travelling off-road as you are often not near anyone who can assist you, or any repair shops.
It is important to be able to re-inflate your own tyres when driving off-road because there may not be help close at hand, and it is also not unusual to get a few punctures in one day when travelling on very rough tracks! Tyre pressure is an important factor in your vehicle's performance. It can affect everything from fuel consumption to handling, as well as whether you are able to negotiate that sandy beach you want to cross. An air compressor allows you to control your tyre pressure quickly, easily and accurately. An air compressor is also useful when travelling, for inflating camping accessories such as air mattresses or even small rafts.

Take a hot shower, wherever you go
Want to go off the beaten track but don't want to give up all of your creature comforts? The luxury most of us miss when travelling is a hot shower, so why not take one with you!
The Glind Aussie Car and Boat Shower is powered by your vehicle and can run off a 4, 6 or 8 cylinder petrol or diesel engine, a family car or a 4WD.
To start using the shower you simply need to start the vehicle and let it run for 2-5 minutes to warm up before attaching the hose to the pump and adjusting the water temperature. The water is heated by adjusting the heating system in your vehicle or through a flow control button which allows you to adjust the water temperature while under the shower. You also have the option of thermostatically controlling storage water which can be heated while travelling, so when you arrive at your destination you will have instant hot water available.
The shower uses a 12 volt marine pressure pump which means it can draw water from up to 10m away and up a 2m incline. The pump runs at 12.5L per minute and the flow from the shower rose is 5.5L per minute.
