Cool off wherever you are with the Autofridge
The Autofridge Eutectic refrigerator/freezer, is designed and made in Australia, especially to follow you across the roughest terrain and through sizzling Aussie summers.
Including the latest in refrigeration technology, the Autofridge uses the Danfoss BD35F unit. This new model of compressor is tougher, quieter, smaller and lighter than previous models and can also run off 12 or 24 volt power. This compressor is coil sprung and rubber mounted, to endure any off-road conditions.

The white fibreglass interior cabinet and exterior casing allows for efficient heat reflection because of the colour, as well as incorporating the proven strength of fibreglass in tough conditions.
Adjusting the Autofridge to suit your needs is easy. The Autofridge can be operated as a Eutectic Refrigeration System by running it for 5-6 hours a day, 2 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon, with the fridge turned off in between. This method consumes only 20Ah/day running on 12 volt power. To run the Autofridge as a Cyclic Refrigeration System it should be set on a refrigeration setting and left to cycle on and off during the day. This method consumes around 24Ah/day running on 12 volt power.

To run the Autofridge as a Cyclic Freezer, it should be set on a sub-zero setting and left to cycle on and off throughout the day. This method uses 40Ah/day running on 12 volt power. The power consumption estimated in these examples relates to a 320C day.
To assist in the planning of stopping times and travelling distances, the Autofridge incorporates a Eutectic refrigeration system which allows you to calculate the power consumption of the fridge with relation to the outside temperature.

If you would also like the option of recharging the fridge's battery while stationary, the Autofridge can be hooked up to solar panels for extra power. Dual battery systems are also another option for powering accessories when camped out. With the ability to power your 12 volt appliances, dual battery systems also provide you with peace of mind by ensuring you aren't running down the battery in your vehicle by using it to power your camping lights or fridge.

The Autofridge is available in 39 litre or 73 litre models. The 39 litre model is 700mm long, 370mm wide and 450mm high. It weighs 26kg and is $1,790. The 73 litre model is 840mm long, 480mm wide and 510mm high. It weighs 33kg and is $2,100. Dual battery systems and the Autofridge are available from Adelaide Off-Road, 52 The Parade, Norwood.
